One-third of each degree’s credit hours must be earned through courses taken 在芝加哥校区; no degree from North Park Theological 神学院 can be completely fully online.

- Master of arts in Christian formation: 17 credit hours completed in residence
- Master of arts in Christian ministry: 13 credit hours completed in residence
- Master of arts in theological studies: 24 credit hours completed in residence; additional library access for thesis 需求 must also be demonstrated for admission to this program
Residency 需求 may be met through either semester-long or one- or two-week intensive courses 在芝加哥校区. 我们的 地区的课程 on the West Coast cannot be counted toward residency 需求.
Along with academic credits, you will need to be on campus to complete other program 需求, 比如 圣经考试, 学位候选人 和 学习结束 评估, 评估 需求. The 神学院 makes every effort to offer options in these areas when you will likely be on campus for classes so you don’t have to make special trips to 芝加哥 to complete them.
When you come to 芝加哥 for class, you’ll also be able to participate in a range of 社区活动, from chapel to meals with faculty, 工作人员, 和 other students; to living in campus housing 和 spending social time with your classmates. These relationship-building activities are important elements of your vocational development as you connect with the individuals who will be your colleagues in ministry for many years to come.
